At work on my lunch break, I now try PSI:

I try to register with livejournal.com, but nothing happens. The firewall must be blocking it.

I then download Pandion:
http://www.pandion.be/download

I try to connect with livejournal.com, and it is blocked again. But in the window that opens, it has a cell to enter the http of a proxy. This may be the way to go...

Jabber Epilogue

Added on Tuesday 10 Juin: I finally got PSI connected to Livejournal Monday evening at home. First it is necessary to be logged in to Livejournal: I may have forgot to do this during certain trials. And then you have to click on the right little icone in a drop-down menu, which I may have failed to notice. But this morning when I try to do this at work, it never connects: the firewall gets in the way. I need a proxy.
